These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Juni Lane website and your purchase and use of products and services offered by Juni Lane (“Juni Lane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, purchasing a product, downloading artwork, or using our services, you agree to these Terms as well as any additional policies or license terms applicable to your purchase.
Please review these Terms carefully before using our website or purchasing from Juni Lane.
1. OUR SHOP
Juni Lane is an independent creative studio offering products and services that may include:
- Seamless digital patterns
- Non-exclusive patterns
- Exclusive patterns
- Illustrations
- Clip art
- SVG files
- Digital bundles
- Custom pattern and illustration services
- Other digital creative products
Unless specifically stated otherwise in a product listing, Juni Lane products are digital products and no physical item will be shipped.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products and services.
2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCEPTABLE USE
By using this website or making a purchase, you represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement or are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
You agree not to use our website, products, or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
You may not interfere with the security or operation of our website or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or services.
3. DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Please review each product listing carefully before purchasing.
Product listings will identify the digital files and formats included with your purchase when applicable.
Colors may appear differently between screens, printers, fabrics, materials, and manufacturers. Juni Lane cannot guarantee that colors displayed digitally will reproduce identically in a finished physical product.
You are responsible for confirming that the provided file types are compatible with your intended software, printer, manufacturer, or production method before purchasing.
4. LICENSE TO USE ARTWORK
Purchasing digital artwork from Juni Lane does not automatically transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying artwork to you.
Instead, your purchase provides you with a license to use the artwork according to the license terms associated with that product.
Different products may be subject to different licenses, including non-exclusive, exclusive, personal-use, commercial-use, or custom licensing terms.
Please review the applicable license before purchasing and before using Juni Lane artwork commercially.
If there is a conflict between these general Terms and a specific written license or custom agreement provided with your purchase, the specific license or agreement will control with respect to that purchase.
5. NON-EXCLUSIVE PATTERNS
Artwork identified as non-exclusive may be purchased and licensed by multiple customers.
Purchasing a non-exclusive pattern does not give you exclusive rights to that design.
The same artwork may remain available for purchase or licensing by other customers.
Unless specifically authorized in writing, non-exclusive artwork may not be registered or used as a trademark, logo, or other exclusive brand identifier.
6. EXCLUSIVE PATTERNS
Artwork identified as exclusive is offered to a single purchaser under the specific terms stated in the applicable listing or license.
Once an exclusive design has been purchased, Juni Lane will remove it from availability for future customers as reasonably practicable.
The exact rights included with an exclusive purchase—including commercial usage rights and whether any copyright ownership is transferred—are determined by the specific license or written agreement accompanying that design.
Do not assume that purchasing an exclusive pattern automatically transfers copyright unless the applicable agreement expressly states that copyright is being assigned to you.
7. PROHIBITED USES OF DIGITAL ARTWORK
Except where specifically permitted by your license, you may not:
- Resell or redistribute the original digital files
- Share purchased files with another business or individual
- Upload files to a shared library for use by unlicensed parties
- Claim Juni Lane artwork as your own original artwork
- Sell the artwork itself as a standalone digital download
- Make minor changes and resell the resulting digital artwork as your own
- Use non-exclusive artwork as a trademark or exclusive logo
- Provide artwork to another party for purposes unrelated to producing your authorized products
- Use the artwork in a manner that exceeds the scope of your purchased license
Providing a file to a manufacturer or production partner solely to manufacture products authorized by your license may be permitted where stated in the applicable license. The manufacturer does not receive independent rights to use the artwork.
8. PRINT-ON-DEMAND & MANUFACTURING
Permission to use Juni Lane artwork with print-on-demand services, fabric printers, manufacturers, or other production partners depends on the license associated with the artwork.
You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen manufacturer or production partner handles the files appropriately.
Production partners may not retain, reuse, resell, redistribute, or offer Juni Lane artwork to other customers.
Juni Lane is not responsible for manufacturing errors, printing differences, production delays, material variations, or other issues caused by third-party production providers.
We recommend ordering samples before committing to large production quantities whenever possible.
9. CUSTOM DESIGN SERVICES
Custom projects may be subject to a separate written agreement outlining:
- Project scope
- Pricing
- Deposit/payment schedule
- Timeline
- Number of revisions
- Deliverables
- Licensing
- Exclusivity
- Copyright ownership
- Cancellation terms
Work will begin according to the terms provided for the individual project.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing custom design services does not automatically transfer copyright ownership of the artwork.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all original artwork, illustrations, patterns, graphics, branding, website content, photographs, text, and other creative materials created by Juni Lane remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Nothing on this website grants you ownership or permission to reproduce Juni Lane intellectual property except as expressly provided through a purchased license or written agreement.
The Juni Lane name, branding, website materials, and original artwork may not be copied, reproduced, or used in an unauthorized manner.
11. PRODUCT INFORMATION & AVAILABILITY
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products.
However, we may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and update product information when necessary.
Prices, products, availability, and offerings may change without prior notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit availability where permitted by law.
Exclusive artwork is subject to availability and may become unavailable once purchased.
12. PRICING & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.
You agree to provide current and accurate purchase and account information.
Applicable taxes, fees, or other charges may be added where required.
Payment must be successfully processed before digital products are delivered unless otherwise agreed for a custom project.
13. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Digital purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
Because digital products cannot generally be returned after delivery or access, digital purchases are generally final once files have been delivered, downloaded, or accessed, subject to applicable law and platform policies.
Custom design projects may have separate cancellation and refund terms provided in the applicable project agreement.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, file-delivery services, manufacturers, social platforms, and other websites.
Juni Lane does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or operation of third-party services.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
15. DISCLAIMER
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Juni Lane products and services are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated by us.
We do not guarantee that a particular artwork or file will be suitable for every software program, printer, manufacturer, material, product, or business purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Juni Lane will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of our website, products, artwork, or services.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Juni Lane harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your material violation of these Terms, your violation of an applicable artwork license, or your unlawful use of Juni Lane products.
18. PRIVACY
Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information may be collected, used, and disclosed.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
